A lovely necklace using the very rare, emerald green fire opal. These vintage glass opals are from the 1950's - 60's and are called "fire opals" or "harlequin opals". Each features a striking green base with flecks of light and dark emerald green, yellows and blues. The glassmaker infused blue-purple highlights inside the stone that really shine when you turn the stone from side to side. The blue highlights is what makes these stones so beautiful. Stones measure just short of 1" long. I've hand-set each stone is a high quality, sterling silver plated brass crown setting (also available in antique brass). Hangs from sterling silver plated chain. Chain length is 18" and closes with a silver plated lobster calsp. Please choose, at checkout, if you prefer antique brass or silver.
