This is a beautiful Steampunk necklace featuring a vintage ART DECO, oval shaped ruby jeweled watch mechanism (non-working) with patina'd silver finish. Original regulator pin is present and a bold ruby is prominent on the balance cock portion. This timepiece has rich, exposed brass gears and silver bezeled, capped jewels set within. Circa 1940's. Truly Elegant and cool !
I have added 2 genuine Swarovski, faceted crystals in turquoise and emerald to add bit of bling to the look. The watch piece is SOLDERED on a sterling silver plated filigree in a dangle, TEAR DROP shape pendant/focal. Flourished and scroll designs. It rests so comfortable against the skin. This piece is refined and elegant enough to be worn with formal wear and yet so beautiful you will want to wear it every day. Easy care - treat it as you would sterling silver jewelry and wipe clean and store in your jewelry box or a pouch
